ABOUT us
After graduating from Goldsmiths University, London in Drama and Theatre Arts Emily decided to travel to South America working in Argentina for seven months as a guide, hostess and chef at a horse estancia before travelling through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador.
Upon returning to the UK, Emily attended Tante Marie Culinary Academy and graduated with a distinction in Cordon Bleu cookery and was awarded the Diamond Jubilee Trophy. As a result Emily went on to work for different catering companies; cooking for events, weddings and private dinner parties, all the while gaining experience, honing her skills, as well as expanding her already accomplished knowledge in events and cookery. As well as working as a chef Emily is also a proficient Event Manager with experience running weddings and events in excess of two hundred guests.
All through her time working as a freelance chef Emily worked as a private chef and events chef for her own business Emily's Kitchen Table.
Since then Emily has a wide clientele under her belt and is renowned for her attention to detail, expansive recipe ideas and turning the normal into something magical for all to enjoy.
Stemming from her time at Goldsmiths University Emily also embraces the theatre of food.
'I think food is not just about taste but how it looks on a plate, and if you can add a little theatre then that's always fun!'
